Update via BPD News:

At about 2:42 PM, on Monday, January 30, 2023, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan), responded to the area of Washington Street and Armandine Street for a call for a person stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located multiple victims suffering from apparent stab wounds. Officers immediately began to render aid to all the victims and broadcasted the descriptions of the suspects. Officers located Deionte Wall, 18, of Dorchester, and a 15-year-old male near Ashmont Station. Both suspects were placed under arrest without incident. All three victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wall was placed under arrest and charged with: 3 Counts of Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon to wit Knife. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

The 15-year-old male was placed under arrest and charged with: 3 Counts of Delinquent to wit; Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon to wit Knife. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

Live Boston is reporting that a large fight between TechBoston Academy students started in Roberts Playground and ended with three students stabbed and a fourth under arrest.

BPD responded to a call around 2:45 p.m. for students fighting with knives and guns near Roberts Playground on the basketball court. No one was there when police arrived but officers eventually found two students who had been stabbed in that neighborhood. A third victim was also discovered a few blocks away. None of the injuries are life-threatening.

BPD and Transit Police stopped a large group of students at Ashmont Station and one suspect is in custody.
