This is a bizarre story
Universal Hub is reporting the City’s Licensing Board has canceled the license of La Parrilla on Hancock Street. Early this week, there was a hearing to discuss an illegal after-hours club ere BPD say three people were shot back in October.
BPD reported at the hearing that they were unable to find the owner of the Hancock Street restaurant. Evidently, BPD discovered that the owner had in fact rented the place out to a woman in New York who was letting her son run the restaurant, including offering booze and hookahs to customers without proper licensing and the restaurant stayed open until dawn.
La Parilla has been closed since the shootings in October and now it will be closed for good.
