A search warrant was executed early Wednesday morning by the Citywide Drug Control Unit along with the BPD SWAT Team on Quincy Street in Dot. Officers recovered a loaded firearm and 12 grams of cocaine packaged to sell. See report below.

At about 5:00 AM on Wednesday April 4, 2018, members of the Citywide Drug Control Unit with the assistance of the BPD SWAT Team executed a search warrant as part of an investigation in the area of 183 Quincy Street in Dorchester. As a result, officers were able to safely locate and recover a loaded 9mm Taurus PT99 handgun along with twelve grams of cocaine packaged for sale. Officers then arrested the target of their investigation, a 40-year-old male from Dorchester, on scene without incident. The suspect has since been arraigned in Dorchester District Court on multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs and Armed Career Criminal Level II.
