Update From BPD News:
At about 7:36 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 59 Wilrose Street. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to a local hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim, Mario G. Santos, 21, of Dorchester was pronounced on scene.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
