The Boston Herald is reporting that the MBTA had to take an Orange Line train out of service because someone was licking the poles inside of it.
Uhhhmmm, okay, where to begin with this one. The fact that a man was compelled to lick the poles during pandemic times is one thing – but clearly someone witnessed the pole licking and alerted the authorities. “Yeah, I’m on the Orange Line and there’s guy licking the poles….yes, the poles..the poles you hold on to…”
As a precautionary measure the MBTA took the Orange Line train out of service.
Strange days, indeed.
