Tis the season for shopping! Here are some local pop ups, holiday markets, and shopping events happening in our neighborhood:
50Makers Holiday Hall:
Boston Women’s Market presents their first annual 50Makers Holiday Hall! Gift small this holiday season while supporting women-owned businesses throughout New England. The Holiday Hall will be held at the Marriott AC Hotel in Boston’s South End. Grab your friends, kiddos, and hubby and shop handmade and ethically-sourced goods, art, and food from amazing women makers. Enjoy the sounds of Random Chants, and all-women Boston-based a cappella group! Grab a hot cup of Hot Chocolate at our donation-based Hot Chocolate Bar. **All donations support Boston Glow, a nonprofit organization that fosters opportunities for women of all ages to become empowered community leaders and active world citizens. ICA Harbor Market:
Stop by the ICA for our quarterly artisan takeover—this time in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater! Shop the boldest local vendors, enjoy a decadent hot cocoa bar (try yours spiked), and make a dent in your holiday shopping. We’ll have holiday postcard making, performances by Boston City Singers at 12:30 and 2 and the Dartmouth Decibelles at 1, and free mugs for ICA members (while supplies last)! Plus, get an ICA tote bag with gallery admission—and don’t miss William Forsythe: Choreographic Objects.
Sip, Shop, and Santa:
On Saturday, December 8th at 1pm head to The Bowery Bar and get into the holiday spirit! Indoors there will have a Christmas market inside with goods from wonderful local vendors along with complementary nibbles. Meanwhile, outside on our patio, Santa will be visiting to take photos with the kiddos and hot cocoa and cookies will be served. Local Vendors include: Back Bay Watch Co, Camden Hydes, Habit, Wears + Wares, Wolfie’s All Natural Treats and 4103 Designs!
Sowa Winter Festival:
Tis the season for the 4th annual SoWa Winter Festival. Now over two weekends, join us for the biggest winter shopping village and holiday festival in Boston. You’ll find the perfect handmade gifts, sip on winter cocktails, and discover the best of the SoWa Art + Design District. Scroll down for workshop sign-ups, a complete vendor list, and more. The SoWa Winter Festival is family friendly and free to attend. $10 cash parking. Friday, December 7, 2018: 5 pm – 9 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2018: 11 am – 7 pm, Sunday, December 9, 2018: 11 am – 5 pm
Row 34 Holiday Pop Up:
This season, Row 34 is getting festive with our annual Holiday Pop-up Shop every Sunday in December from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Help support local artists and makers rooted in the Fort Point artists community. Swing by for free small bites and bevvies while finding the perfect gifts for everyone on your list! Stick around fro post shopping dinner Row 34 features a menu of fresh seafood, steaks, homemade pasta, and a raw bar. They also have an extensive beer and wine list. Boston Holiday Market presented by Constant Contact

Sip, shop and be merry on Tuesday, December 11th at 7pm at The Broadway featuring a pop up of local Southie’s shops and boutiques!
Sip & Shop at Lucy’s American Tavern:
Head to Lucy’s on Wednesday, December 12th from 6pm-9pm for a Sip & Shop Event! There will be local vendors including BPD Hockey Club, Wears+Wares, Camden Hydes, Wolfie’s Natural Dog Treats, Habit, 4103 Designs, Back Bay Watch Co., live DJ, bubbles and artisan fries!
Cozy at Bow:
The temps are dropping but Bow Market ain’t stopping! Come get cozy in Somerville’s cutest courtyard—snuggle up under some blankets and space heaters with warm-your-bones food specials downstairs, then take your drinks on the road while you get your retail therapy we mean holiday shop on upstairs. Come see what our fab retailers have on offer for the holidays, then stick around for great drinks and good, cozy vibes and a wide selection of delicious food specials from our amazing food vendors. This event goes all weekend long, and so does your ability to cruise the market with drinks in hand. Tell your friends. Our friends from Recollective Vintage will be at The Canopy Room for a vintage holiday pop up from 12pm-8pm.
South Boston Holiday Market:
Shop at the South Boston Holiday Market! A Boston holiday tradition, this amazing two-day event that brings together the best of New England under one roof at the Innovation and Design Building in South Boston. Over 120 of the region’s top independent artists, artisans, designers and food makers will be selling their unique handmade goods. Back for it’s 4th year, the South Boston Holiday Market is the perfect one-stop-shop for personalized, handmade gifts for friends and family alike. This holiday market takes place at the Innovation and Design Building – 21 Drydock Ave, 1st Floor on Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th 11am-6pm.
Holiday Pop Up at Lincoln:
Lincoln is getting in on the holiday pop up action with a special night of shopping in their backroom. Featuring Habit, Wears + Wares, Camden Hydes, Covet, Ku De Ta, Best Dresses, 4103 Designs and B Boutique, there will be something for everyone on your list! This shopping event takes places on Monday, December 17th from 6pm-9pm.
