The victim of the hit and run on the Mattapan/Dorchester line on Saturday has been identified as Pierre Desir, age 40, of Boston.
Desir was struck and killed near the intersection of Morton and Fuller streets.
Police are seeking help from the public. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817.
