Lower Mills Library – Pumpkin Carving
On Saturday, October 22 from 10am-12pm the Friends of theLower Mills Branch will host their annual Pumpkin Carving event! Register ahead to receive your very own pumpkin! Register in person or call 61-7-298-7841. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
DCR Pumpkin Parade
Wear your best Halloween costume, bring a carved pumpkin to the Pumpkin Parade on the Neponset. River Greenway trail on Thursday, October 27th at 5:30pm. DCR Pope John Paul Park, Hallet Street on Dorchester Enjoy music, games, candy, hot chocolate, and the pumpkin patch! No pre-registration required. Rain Date: Friday, October 28th at 5:30pm
ADSL Character Fun Haunted House

Zoo Howl at the Franklin Park Zoo
Zoo Howl, Franklin Park Zoo, October 29-30: Join the fun at Franklin Park Zoo this Hallo-weekend while trick-or-treating among the animals. There will be plenty of haunted happenings from 9 am – 3 pm throughout the weekend, including costume contests and opportunities to learn about all the creepy crawly critters found at the Zoo.
