Groundbreaking: Adams Street Public Library

Mayor Martin J. Walsh, along with Boston Public Library president David Leonard and members of the community will break ground on the new¬†Adams Street Branch of the Boston Public Library, a $18.3 million collaborative development between the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department and the Boston Public Library, in partnership with architect Nadaaa and J and J Contractors Inc.

Following a brief speaking program and groundbreaking ceremony, the library’s staff will host a community celebration, with a musical performance from Dorchester’s Choco-leles and refreshments.
