Mayor Martin J. Walsh, along with Boston Public Library president David Leonard and members of the community will break ground on the new Adams Street Branch of the Boston Public Library, a $18.3 million collaborative development between the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department and the Boston Public Library, in partnership with architect Nadaaa and J and J Contractors Inc.
Following a brief speaking program and groundbreaking ceremony, the library’s staff will host a community celebration, with a musical performance from Dorchester’s Choco-leles and refreshments.
