According to the Boston Globe, John M. Lynch, 66, a former City Hall employee was caught on camera accepting thousands of dollars from a local real estate developer.
Lynch resigned in August and is due to be sentenced in federal court on January 24th for taking a $50,000 bribe to help a Boston real estate developer Steven Turner get the BPDA vote for approval for the development 27-29 H Street in South Boston.
Lynch was the assistant director of real estate at the Economic Development Industrial Corporation.
