Five Horses Tavern May Be Headed to Savin Hill

Another restaurant could soon be joining the Savin Hill dining scene. According to a report from our friends at Boston Restaurant Talk, Five Horses Tavern is planning to open a new location in Dorchester.
The popular spot — known for its comfort food, strong beer list, and neighborhood tavern vibe — is seeking approval to move into a space at 1121 Dorchester Avenue, just south of the Savin Hill Avenue intersection.
A licensing board hearing notice indicates the proposed restaurant would feature a main dining area, a bar, and potentially an outdoor patio. If approved, the Savin Hill location would become the third outpost for Five Horses Tavern, joining its existing locations in Davis Square in Somerville and the South End.
We’ll keep you posted as the plans move through the approval process.
