First Responders and Vets Get Free Beer & Burgers at DOToberfest!

ATTENTION veterans and first responders, well-deserved Free Beer and Burgers at DOToberfest!

On Saturday, October 26 EDENS South Bay and Wahlburgers are elated to offer free burgers and beers to all military and first responders.

Keith Hague, the VP of construction and development for EDENS said, “This event, it’s all about the community for us and exposure for South Bay. It’s raised $10,000 for Give2Those so far, which is great because they cut through all the red tape to help any military families in need.”

The event will be held in conjunction with Give2Those, a nonprofit as articulated on their website, committed to “stepping in and providing vital financial assistance and support when hardship, distress, and/or tragedy strikes an active duty member, veteran, first responder, or their family.”

A special appearance will be made by Paul Wahlberg, the chef, actor and reality TV star behind Wahlburgers.

DOToberfest will feature the usual Beer Garden presented by Craft Brewers Exchange featuring Berkshire Brewing Company, artisanal food and vendors, live music and more. The various raffles offered throughout the day will go towards Give2Those.
