Boston fire responded to a call for a fire at 688 Columbia Road around 7:40am on Wednesday. Fire was showing on arrival from the third floor of a three- story building and quickly escalated to a third alarm.
Firefighters were able to contain and knock down the fire. Residents were safely evacuated.
One firefighter and one resident where injured.
