BFD responded to call for heavy fire at approximately 5:00 am at 36 Robinson St in Dorchester. The 3-alarm fire engulfed the rear porches 3-family building and quickly spread to a building located at 32 Robinson Street. Eventually the fire was knocked down.
Nine people were safely evacuated in addition to three cats. No injuries reported. Fire companies remain on scene to monitor hot spots. Damages are estimated at $1million dollars. You can see a video of the flames BFD faced upon arrival here.
