BFD responded to a call for a fire at 23 Lithgow Street on Friday around 3pm. Heavy fire was showing upon arrival. Fire spread to a 19 Lithgow and a second alarm was ordered. Rear porches burned thru and then collapsed so a third alarm was ordered.
Eventually fire was knocked down at both 23 and 19 Lithgow Street. 17 people, three dogs and a cat have been displaced. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
