BFD responded to a report for a building fire around 9am on Sunday. Upon arrival, smoke was showing at 6 Brookvale Street from the top floor of the two-story home. Heavy fire was knocked down and all residents (including a cat) were evacuated. One resident and one firefighter taken to area hospital by Boston EMS.
