BFD responded to a fire in Dorchester early this morning. Fire was showing on arrival around 6:25am on the third floor of a three family located at 83 Holmes Ave. The fire quickly extended to the roof and 2nd alarm was ordered.
One person was rescued and taken to the hospital no other injuries. Damages are estimated at 4$00,000. The fire investigation unit was on scene to determine the cause of the fire. Four residents have been displaced.
Unfortunately, a family dog died during the fire.
