According to the BFD, a fire started in a vacant building on the second floor at 52 Nelson Street on Wednesday night.  The fire was quickly knocked down.  BFD Fire Investigation Unit is working to determine the cause.  No injuries.

Estimated damages to be $100,000.

On Sunday there was a fire on Seaver Street and a cat was rescued.
