The Boston Fire Department responded to call on Monday night at 10:35pm. Upon arrival at 327 Neponset Ave. fire was showing on the third floor of this three-decker home. The fire was contained to the third floor and the first and second floor sustained water damage.
Damage is estimated at approximately $150,000. The cause of fire is under investigation. Two residents were taken to area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Two residents were displaced.
According to BFD Twitter – a neighbor spotted the flames and called it in. “Thankful for the passerby who alerted the BFD of the fire & thankful to the residents who shoveled the hydrant in front of the home. Teamwork counts.”
