WHDH is reporting that a pregnant woman was hospitalized after a ceiling collapsed at 1593 Dorchester Ave on Friday around 7:30am.
According to BPD the woman was suffering from non-life threatening injuries but was transported by Boston EMS for evaluation
Building inspectors were on scene and the cause of the collapse is under investigation.
