We’ve got the perfect beer for you to celebrate the Patriots! Sam Adams is releasing “Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here” in homage to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
“This New England style Double IPA is fermented with kveik, a heirloom farmhouse yeast that displays a variety of flavors and aromas like candied peach and pineapple that work together for a one-of-a-kind brew – just like our team has worked together to defeat the odds and shatter expectations all season long,” Sam Adams stated via press release.
This new farmhouse double New England IPA ( with a 7.8-percent alcohol-by-volume measurement) will debut at a release party at the Boston Brewery & Tap Room on Thursday, January 31 from 4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
If you wanna drink it, plan on getting to the tap room in Jamaica Plain on the early side. Due to the limited release, only one crowler – aka a 32-ounce aluminum can – will be sold per person for the first 199 people that arrive. The 199 number represents Brady’s pick selection in the 2000 NFL draft.
The beer will also be available on draft at the event on Thursday night along live music, free food from Buffalo Wild Wings, and free swag from Sam Adams.
Let’s go, Patriots!
