Over the weekend, there was traffic thanks to the Nor’easter, flooding and road closures. We get that. On Sunday, Kosciuszko Circle was gridlocked and State Troopers needed to intervene and direct traffic to get it flowing to a crawl.
On Monday afternoon, it was more of the same. From Andrew Square to Dot. Ave near Savin Hill Ave, traffic! UMASS Boston – traffic. The rotary – traffic.
We’re hoping this is just a fluke – that relief is on the way. But we think it’s time to get going on the redesign of Morrissey Blvd. and the rotary from hell. The time is now! With development on the way, it could only get worst.
