Battle on the Mountain, an extension of HGTV‘s popular competition series Battle on the Beach, featuring three skilled teams coached by home experts Rico León (Rico to the Rescue), Kim Myles (Design Star: Next Gen) and Kim Wolfe (Why The Heck Did I Buy This House?). The teams face off to upgrade similar mountainside homes in Breckenridge, Colorado. Each team will work to add the most property value in hopes of clinching bragging rights and a $50,000 cash prize. Wowza!
Back in 2017, the Renovation Husbands documented the transformation of the gutted 1893 Victorian they purchased without electricity or plumbing in Dorchester into a gorgeous home. They are currently renovating a new vacation cabin in Maine!
According to a profile on the duo in Boston Magazine, their talented and masterful design and restoration work have appeared in publications like House Beautiful and Country Living. Back in 2022, the Boston Preservation Alliance awarded the St. Russells the 2022 Preservation Achievement Award for their work restoring and modernizing their historic Dorchester home.
Another Dorchester resident and HGTV star, Taniya Nayak, will also appear in this season of Battle on the Mountain!
