Welcome to the Neighborhood: Ban Toi Restaurant

A new Vietnamese restaurant opened its doors earlier this month in Savin Hill.  Conveniently located between the Savin Hill and JFK/UMass red line stops, Ban Toi is located at 1035 Dot. Ave. Their menu features salads, noodle soups, hot pots and seafood.  You can check out their website here! 

Flames in Peabody Square

Boston Eater is reporting that a Boston-based Caribbean restaurant chain named Flames will open in Peabody Square!  The 1 Peabody Square will be the fourth location including Mattapan, Grove Hall, and Mission Hill. 

Flames’ menu features jerk chicken wings, roti, barbecue ribs, and Jamaican beef patties.  No word yet when the exact opening date is.

Taco Time for Savin Hill

If you live in Savin Hill and like tacos, you’ll love this news.  Savin Bar + Kitchen will be opening a taqueria and tequila bar called Ghost Pepper Taqueria right next door on Savin Hill Ave. 

Ghost Pepper Taqueria will have seating for 100 and hopes to open this summer!  We can’t wait!
