Dorchester Native and Best Selling Author Patrick Radden Keefe Featured in Boston Globe Interview

Dorchester native and bestselling author Patrick Radden Keefe is featured in a new interview with the Boston Globe, where he talks about growing up in Ashmont and how his Dorchester roots helped shape the stories he tells today.

Keefe, known for nonfiction page-turners focused on crime, power, and family secrets, shared that even as a teenager he was interested in stories that often went overlooked. In the interview, he reflects on writing about the murder of a groundskeeper from his neighborhood while attending Milton Academy — an experience he says stuck with him.

The Globe piece also dives into Keefe’s latest book, London Falling, and his fascination with “twisty characters and stories.” The bestselling writer said he’s always been drawn to people living double lives and operating on the edge of danger.
