At about 1:12 PM on, Monday, November 25, 2019, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force, made an onsite warrant arrest in the area of 246 Boston Street, of Raekwon Harris, 22 of Dorchester, on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder and Assault & Battery.
Circumstances surrounding the incident were as follows: At about 9:14 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2019, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury), responded to a radio call for a stabbing in the area of 735 Dudley Street in Roxbury. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.
After further investigation, and based on evidence collected at the scene, District B-2 Detectives applied for and were granted a felony straight warrant out of Roxbury District Court.
Raekwon Harris is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
