At about 4:35 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a robbery in progress at Maria’s Market in the area of 1760 Dorchester Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers were informed that a suspect had grabbed the entire register containing an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot on Santuit Street towards Roseland Street.
The suspect was described as a “younger” dark-skinned black male with a beard and wearing a black hat, a black T-shirt over a white T-shirt, and black pants.
District C-11 detectives have released the accompanying photos of a person of interest in relation to this incident and request the public’s help in identifying the individual pictured. These photos are provided for identification purposes only, and this person is NOT wanted at this time.
