The Boston Police Department is releasing an image and seeking the public’s help in an effort to identify and locate the individual pictured in connection to an ongoing death investigation in the area of 99 Shandon Road in Dorchester.
Anyone with information relative to this person’s identity or whereabouts is asked and encouraged to call Boston Police Homicide Detectives directly at (617) 343-4470.

The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to help this investigation in an anonymous manner. As always, investigators are more concerned with the information provided, less concerned with who provides it.
The original facts and circumstances surrounding the investigation are as follows: At about 6:15 PM, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for an unconscious male in the area of 99 Shandon Road in Dorchester. Upon arrival, the officers observed and located a non-responsive male in his late seventies suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
