Death of 2-month-old baby under investigation in Dorchester

According to WCVB, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby.
BPD received a call shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday night for a death investigation on Gaylord Street.
When BPD arrived, they learned that a baby had been found unresponsive at the home and was believed to have died.
The baby was taken to Boston Medical Center, where the child was pronounced dead. Due to the age of the child, homicide detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
A second child was also transported to a local hospital for evaluation. No update was provided regarding how the second child is doing. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
