At about 7:15 PM, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, officers assigned to District C-11 responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 48 Julliette Street in Dorchester. On approach, the officers were redirected to the area of 1353 Dorchester Avenue for an adult male victim suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
