At about 11:46 PM on Monday, September 16, 2019, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 800 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester. On arrival, officers observed the adult male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, lying on the ground inside of the lobby at the aforementioned location. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Boston Police Department continues to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
