DOTTEA, a new boba tea shop, is set to open at 1700 Dorchester Ave., bringing Vietnamese boba milk tea and fruit tea to the neighborhood. Owner Cee Nguyen, along with his wife Gigi, aims to introduce authentic Vietnamese beverages and snacks, all imported from Vietnam.
The shop will operate in a mixed-use building completed last year, offering studio, one and two-bedroom apartments above the retail space. Alongside boba milk tea and fruit tea, Vietnamese coffee, waffles, and crepes will be served. Nguyen, who also owns Ban Toi, a Vietnamese restaurant nearby, hopes to positively impact the community where he resides.
There is no set date on when DOTTEA will open, but further details will become available later this spring, so stay tuned
