Seems as though the patrons of Dorset Hall are getting R-O-W-D-I-E at closing time. According to Universal Hub, the restaurant located at 367 Neponset Ave was brought before the City of Boston Licensing Board at a hearing on Tuesday to discuss the late night shenanigans (also the name of it’s sister restaurant in Southie) happening out front after closing.
In addition to” boisterous and loud” behavior and patrons spilling into the neighborhood, an incident involving an off-duty state trooper breaking a woman’s leg was cause for the hearing.
Boston police were present at the hearing to report on a new trend by neighborhood restaurants attracting more club-like patrons than people just going out for some food.
The licensing board will make a decision on Thursday whether any fines or punishment will be implemented.
