Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by drinking margaritas and chowing down on chips and guacamole. Cinco de Mayo (for those of you who flunked high school Spanish) is on May 5th. Here are some local neighborhood businesses who are celebrating! Check back as this list will be updated as needed!
Doors Open Early at Yellow Door
YDT will open its doors at 12noon at both locations! Enjoy taco & margarita specials AND try their NEW canned cocktail lineup! Reservations for The South End are now live via their website & @opentable. It will be first come, first served in Lower Mills – so get there early to the Cinco festivities started! You can also order a fiesta to go with their Cinco de Mayo Kit. Each kit contains the ingredients for 12 tacos (? choose 2 of BOSTON’S BEST TACOS ?), chips + guacamole + a side of salsa, elote, and your choice of a non-alcoholic house, coconut, or jalapeño margarita mix! Upgrade your Cinco de Taco kit by adding a grande margarita mix (8 margaritas)! Orders MUST be placed by 3 p.m. on Monday May 3rd. Choose “schedule for later” when placing your order to select the time you’d like to pick up your Cinco de Taco Kit on Cinco de Mayo!
Death Taco Eating Contest at Ghost Pepper
Think you have what it takes to win Ghost Pepper’s ????? ???? ?????? ??????? ?The contestants to finish in first and second place will receive a gift card to Ghost Pepper, and it is ???? to enter! The contest is on May, 5th from 6:30 – 8:30! You can learn more details via Ghost Pepper’s instagram.

Loco in Southie is Celebrating with 5 Days of Fun
Loco is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with 5 days of fun starting May 1st! Expect specialty drinks, tacos, appetizer and more! Go to their Instagram for details! Patio will be open (weather permitting). Loco is also packing up the party to go with the Cinco Box – everything included to throw the perfect party 
All orders must be placed by 10pm, Sunday May 2. Boxes will be available for pick up on May 5 between 12-6pm. Boxes serve 4-6 people. Boxes cost $150. No substitutions. Available while supplies last, pre-order today!
