If you were driving through Lower Mills on Thursday, you may have spotted Dave Portnoy aka El Presidente of Barstool Sports. He was doing his wildly popular Barstool Pizza Review of Pat’s Pizza in addition to a bonus review of the Ice Creamsmith. Both got high scores – Pat’s got a 7.8 and 9.7 for Ice Creamsmith and the Barstool seal of approval.
Evidently, Barstool used to have an office right in the neighborhood. He used to trade t-shirts for ice cream.
Barstool is now located in New York City. Portnoy is back in town to cover the Bruins vs. Blue Stanley Cup Finals. The Ice Creamsmith has made a special Black & Gold ice cream – double chocolate with golden caramel swirl served with gold M&M’s.
