At about 6:08 AM, on Thursday, August 26, 2021, Officers Assigned to the C-6 Drug Control Unit concluded several months-long investigations targeting drug Distribution that led to the arrest of Robert Cooley, 37, of Dorchester.
Officers assigned to the C-6 Drug Unit executed a search warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for Robert Cooley and the residence located at 72 West Cottage Street. In execution of the warrant, officers recovered the following items: Glock 9 MM loaded with thirteen (13) rounds of ammunition, a Ruger 9 MM loaded with ten (10) rounds of ammunition, 1,830 Grams of Cocaine, 30 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.5 pounds of Marijuana, and $5,500 in United States Currency.
Cooley is to be charged with the following Offenses Trafficking Class B 200 grams or more (to wit: cocaine), Trafficking Class B 200 grams or more (to wit: crack cocaine), Trafficking Class B 18-30 grams (to wit: Methamphetamine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D (to wit: Marijuana), two (2) counts of Possession of a Firearm without FID, Possession of Ammunition without FID, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Armed Career Criminal Level 1.
Robert Cooley is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
