Good grief! Were you stuck in traffic on Morrissey Boulevard on Friday morning? Chances are it could have been because the bridge was stuck in the upright position causing quite the commuting snafu.
According to a twitter post by the Massachusetts State Police, the Beades Bridge became stuck due to mechanical issues. The traffic delays impacted Interstate 93 northbound at the Morrissey Boulevard exit.
Traffic was rerouted while MassDOT fixed the issue. The bridge was back in business shortly after 7:30am.
