Brian Joyce, 25, from Dorchester, appeared in Dorchester District Court on Wednesday to face charges he allegedly shot and killed Marcus Dunn-Gordon, 27, of Randolph on September 16th near 800 Morrissey Boulevard.  Joyce was held without bail and is due back in court on October 25th.

At about 7:30 PM, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit, assisted by Manchester Police and the US Marshals, arrested Brian Joyce, 25, of Dorchester in connection to a homicide investigation. Joyce was arrested in Manchester, NH for an active warrant out of Dorchester District Court for Murder.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows: At about 11:46 PM, on Monday, September 16, 2019, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 800 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester. On arrival, officers observed an adult male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, lying on the ground inside of the lobby at the aforementioned location. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Marcus Dunn-Gordon, 27, of Randolph.
