On Wednesday, Boston Public School officials released new details on a plan to merge two small elementary schools in Dorchester as part of Mayor Wu’s Green New Deal for BPS.

According to WBUR, the merger is calling for the Pauline Shaw Elementary School and the Charles Taylor Elementary School to become one.  Also in Roslindale, the John D. Philbrick Elementary School and Charles Sumner Elementary School are expected to merge too. The proposal must be approved by the Boston School Committee.  The vote is expected in May.

I think mergingphilbrik and the Sumneris not a good choice for the parents of those school as well as the community. Two totally different school curriculum and communities it’s not inducive to the children who has been established in both schools for years it’s a bad idea
