BPD Seek ID After Suspects Attack and Rob Victims in the area of Adams Street and Ashmont Street in Dorchester

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify suspects sought in connection to two recent unarmed robberies in Dorchester. The video here shows two of the three suspects believed to be involved in the following incidents:

INCIDENT #1: At about 12:53 AM on Saturday, January 16, 2021, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for an unarmed robbery in progress in the area of 656 Adams Street in Dorchester.

Officers were met by the victim who stated that he was walking on Adams Street towards Ashmont Street when he was physically assaulted by three suspects. While striking the victim, the suspects were able to get away with the victim’s cell phone, air pods, wallet and approximately $40.00 USC.

Boston EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital with minor injuries. Officers and additional responding C-11 units searched the area for the suspects to no avail.

INCIDENT #2: At about 10:26 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for an unarmed robbery in progress in the area of 490 Ashmont Street in Dorchester.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who stated they observed two suspects, in their late teens, physically attack the victim by punching him in the face repeatedly. Officers observed the adult male victim suffering from facial lacerations and a contusion to his right eye.

Boston EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for further evaluation. The suspects were able to get away with the victim’s cell phone as well as a bag containing his personal belongings. The suspects fled on foot down Adams Street towards Pierce Street. Officers and additional responding C-11 units searched the area for the suspects to no avail.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information relative to the vehicle pictured is asked to contact District C-11 Detectives at (617) 343-4335.
