At about 11:44 AM on Friday, May 26, 2023, officers and detectives assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) arrested Davon Sanon, 23, of Medford and a 16-year-old juvenile male from Dorchester in the area of 181 Norfolk Street in Dorchester. The arrests came following an investigation to an armed robbery of two adult males which occurred several hours early, at about 1:30 AM, in the area of 231 Talbot Avenue. During the incident, the juvenile suspect displayed a firearm. Later, a credit card which was stolen during the robbery was used by the suspects. Both suspects were placed in custody without incident based on multiple investigatory elements.
Davon Sanon will be charged in Dorchester District Court with Armed Robbery, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Larceny/Improper Use of a Credit Card. The 16-year-old male will be charged in Dorchester Juvenile Court with Delinquent to Wit: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Armed Robbery, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Larceny/Improper Use of a Credit Card.
