BPD Officer Goes Above + Beyond During Snowstorm in Dorchester

From BPD News:

Earlier today, on Friday January 7, 2022, following our first significant snowfall of 2022, an officer assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a blocked driveway at a residence on Wrentham Street.
On arrival, the officer resolved the initial call for service and then remained on scene, shoveling out several cars to ensure that the street would remain open to vehicular traffic. A neighbor called the district station hours later, stating that the officer had also cleared a parked motor vehicle belonging to an elderly resident and that his actions were appreciated by the community he proudly serves.
We salute our officer for going above and beyond the call of duty during this morning’s snowstorm and to the community member who took the time to call we say, Thank You for Thanking Us.
