Investigation Update: At about 10:03 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Capen Street and Evans Street in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Boston EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim has since been identified as Brandon Williams, 32, of Dorchester.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
