Remember on July 4th, four people were shot at a neighborhood cookout with a bouncy house? Well, BPD report an arrest has been made in connection with this case. See below:
On, Thursday, August 23, 2018, Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force along with the assistance of the Worcester Police Department and Massachusetts State Police, arrested Jyarie Shoulders, 21 of Dorchester, in the area of 134 Eastern Avenue, Worcester, MA., on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for multiple counts of Assault & Battery to wit a Firearm. Jyarie Shoulders was booked and held at Worcester Police Department.
Boston Police obtained a warrant for Jyarie Shoulders regarding the following incident that took place at about 6:45PM on Wednesday, July 04, 2018.
Officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 79 Fayston Street, Boston. Upon arrival officers located three victims suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to local area hospitals by Boston EMS. While on scene, officers were alerted to the fact that an additional victim had self-applied to a local area hospital suffering from non-life threating gunshot wounds sustained on Fayston Street.
