BPD arrest a woman from Dorchester for armed robbery
On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested Elena O’Brien, 38, of Dorchester, for Armed Robbery.
About 6:25 PM, officers were waved down by a victim of a robbery incident. The victim advised officers that he was struck in the head with a bottle and placed in a headlock during the commission of the robbery.
Officers were able to stop one of the suspects in the area of Columbia Road and Boston Street. The suspect was handcuffed, and a description of the second suspect was broadcasted to responding units. Officers searched the area of the second suspect to no avail.
O’Brien was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
- Armed Robbery to wit Glass Bottle
- Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200
- Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to wit glass bottle
- Strangulation or Suffocation
The suspect also had a warrant issued out of Roxbury District Court for Burglary, Trespass, and Breaking and Entering for Misdemeanor.
