UPDATE: On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, Boston police arrested Anthony Kelley, 18, of Dorchester and charged him with the following: Murder, Firearm Discharged within 500 feet of a Dwelling, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

Circumstances Surrounding the Arrest: At about 3:37PM, on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Topliff Street and Speedwell Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a female victim in her late teens suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
