Help Your Neighbor Initiative
Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester and Steel & Rye will prepare and distribute as many as 75 cooked meals on Thanksgiving morning to help those in need.
In addition to the 75 meals, BGCD is also teaming up with local nonprofit organizations Elevate Youth and Neighbors Helping Neighbors to give more than 150 Thanksgiving dinners with all the fixings to families in need this week. Elevate Youth, which has partnered with the Club to provide outdoor programs, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors are each donating 50 meals to be distributed by the Club during Thanksgiving week.
We love to see the Dorchester community coming together to support one another!
