If you rent in Boston this is not news to you, but Boston is one of the most expensive major cities in the US to rent! To be exact, Boston is the 4th most expensive city to rent in the country.
The real estate website Zumper just released the latest Boston rent map for Summer 2019. This interactive map shows 1-bedroom median rent prices across 27 neighborhoods in the city. Dorchester had one of the fastest growing rents since last quarter, up around 12% with the median rent being $1900 for a one-bedroom.
Downtown Boston and South Boston have rents in the $3000-$3500 range. $Holy Moly!
