Boston Police Drug Control Unit Dismantles Major Fentanyl Distribution Operation in Dorchester, Two Arrested

On Friday, April 10, 2026, members of the Boston Police Department’s B-2 Drug Control Unit and Citywide Drug Control Unit, in coordination with the Randolph Police Department and federal partners, executed a series of court-authorized search warrants as part of a long-term narcotics investigation. The operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of fentanyl and cocaine, an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, jewelry, and a motor vehicle. Two individuals were arrested and charged.

The investigation spanned several months and targeted a drug trafficking organization operating out of 100 Stanwood Street in Dorchester. Investigators identified Ricky Mendez-Feliz, 26, of Boston, as a target of the investigation, which focused on the distribution of cocaine and fentanyl throughout multiple areas of the city. Investigators utilized a range of investigative techniques, including GPS tracking, to establish connections between the target, his residence, and the primary distribution location. A secondary stash location was identified at a residence in Randolph, where investigators determined the majority of the narcotics and currency were being stored.

Investigators obtained Quincy District Court search warrants for 100 Stanwood Street, Dorchester; 6 Michael Road, Randolph; the person of Ricky Mendez-Feliz; and a Honda CRV.

Officers established surveillance in both Dorchester and Randolph. As Mendez-Feliz departed his Randolph address, officers from the B-2 Drug Control Unit and Randolph Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop and placed him under arrest. Officers then executed the remaining warrants simultaneously at both the Dorchester and Randolph locations.

During the execution of the search warrant at 100 Stanwood Street, officers conducted a forced entry and protective sweep of the apartment. A second individual, Ronfi Heredia-Valdez, 22, of Dorchester, was observed entering and exiting the residence prior to the warrant execution and was subsequently arrested.

In a simultaneous operation, the Massachusetts State Police Drug Unit, supported by the Boston Police Department’s E-5 Drug Control Unit, executed a separate search warrant at 98 Stanwood Street, Dorchester. That investigation recovered a significant quantity of fentanyl, a firearm, ammunition, and a large pill press. That investigation remains active and ongoing.

The following narcotics were recovered across all locations:

  • 3,129.1 grams of fentanyl
  • 17.7 grams of cocaine
  • 13.5 grams of crack cocaine

Additional items seized included:

  • An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency
  • Miscellaneous jewelry
  • A motor vehicle
