At about 3:34 PM, on Saturday, February 19, 2022, officers assigned to the District C-6 Drug Control Unit (South Boston), District E-18 (Hyde Park), the BPD City-Wide Drug Control Unit and The FBI Task Force, arrested Mariela Lara, 37, of Dorchester, Joel Tejeda-Perdomo, 45, of Dorchester and Luis Diaz-Rolon, 43, of Boston, charging them with Trafficking, Class A, Drugs, Trafficking, Class B, Drugs and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.
Officers executed a search warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court after an ongoing investigation and a traffic stop in the area of Norfolk Street and Morton Street. As a result of the traffic stop, the suspects were arrested and officers recovered more that 100 grams of Fentanyl, several baggies of a white substance believed to be crack cocaine and $2,940.00 in USC.
Mariela Lara, Joel Tejeda-Perdomo and Luis Diaz-Rolon are all expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
